Annual State Federal Tribal Coordination Meeting

Adaptation & Resiliency for the Advancement of Wetland Science, Policy and Practice

We invite you to join us for ASWM’s Annual State/Tribal/Federal Coordination Meeting, to be held virtually April 12-15, 2021. The purpose of this annual meeting is to support state and tribal wetland program managers, and other wetland professionals as they respond to challenges in the coming year. This year’s annual meeting will be held virtually again due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but each day’s agenda will be shorter, start later and include plenty of breaks. 

Focus Areas for This Year’s Meeting Include:

  • Federal policy updates and significant court cases
  • Wetland science and climate change resiliency
  • Wetland Program Capacity: Adapting to New Regs, COVID-19, Budgets
  • Mapping, tools and technology

Jon A. Kusler Student Scholarship Award - Deadline to Apply is Monday, March 15, 2021

The first annual Jon A. Kusler Student Scholarship Award competition is now open! This award will fund all expenses for one or more students studying wetland science, law or policy (either undergraduate or graduate level) to attend ASWM's annual State/Tribal/Federal Coordination meeting. More information can be found here.

Please note we are only providing standard registration rates for 2021 (no early or late rates).

Rates have been reduced for 2021 to reflect the challenges facing our members and state/tribal agency budgets due to COVID-19.

Deadline to Register is Friday, April 2, 2021 by 3:00 p.m. Eastern:

  • Pay by check or money order (DUE BY MONDAY, MARCH 15th)
  • Pay online by PayPal or by phone with Credit Card (DUE BY APRIL 2nd)

Scholarship Assistance Available - Deadline to Apply is March 15, 2021

A limited number of scholarships are available to assist those in need to cover registration costs to attend ASWM's Virtual Annual State/Tribal/Federal Coordination Meeting. Our intent is to support as many people as possible with the limited amount of funding that we have. If you are able to cover some of your registration costs, that will enable more of our colleagues to attend.
